Heating Systems. We do NOT recommend using portable LPG gas heaters or un-flued fixed gas appliances as forms of heating. Un-flued gas appliances of both kinds release large volumes of moisture into the air the entire time they operate. This can result in condensation levels being higher and also make the moisture content in the air difficult to treat with a ventilation system.

Gas appliances with a flue are acceptable because they expel moisture externally.

Heat transfer should only be used when there is a wood fire that creates excess heat.

A heat pump sized for the room it occupies is not suitable for heat transfer.
