Why is ventilation important?

10 litres of harmful damp air can be produced in a day as well as toxins from products, sprays and gases. Bringing in clean fresh air helps to provide a dry healthy home.

What does lack of ventilation cause?

If polluted damp air is not removed it can lead to condensation, mould, airborne toxins, health problems and moisture damage to your home.

Why does indoor air quality matter?

We spend up to 60% of our time inside our homes but indoor air can be up to 50 times more polluted than outdoor air. Better air, better health, healthy home.

How does the air inside become toxic?

Our homes can fill with toxic VOCs (volatile organic compounds) that can cause health problems. Common household pollutants include hairspray, surface cleaner sprays and insect sprays.

Is the air inside my home polluted?

Potentially dangerous gases, like carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide, can be produced by fuel-burning heating equipment such as un-flued gas heaters.

What does a home ventilation system do?

Provides better air for your home and better health for those inside your home. Some offer sensors to detect humidity, or use recovered energy to heat incoming air.
