How do PAC work?

• PAC remove warm air and moisture as they cool, expelling hot air and moisture whilst returning cooled air to the room
• Air must be exhausted/vented out to another location (typically outside through a window) to effectively cool a room
• Self evaporative evaporates moisture out the exhaust hose along with the warm air (rarely having to deal with collected condensate water) although less effective in winter as cold air holds less moisture
• Recommended size: 10m 2 = 1kW capacity

Things to note when buying a PAC.

• PAC’s can be noisy as all the cooling/heating components are housed in the portable unit
• PAC’s need to be placed near a sash or a sliding window suitable for the exhaust pipe to appropriately duct
